美国公共图书馆儿童数字阅读推广实践调查及启示

Research and Enlightenment on the Practice of Children's Digital Reading Promotion in American Public Libraries

摘要: [目的/意义]调查美国公共图书馆儿童数字阅读推广的现状,为我国儿童数字阅读推广实践工作提供参考。[方法/过程]根据服务人口分9级,每级随机抽5家公共图书馆,通过网络调查美国45家公共图书馆数字阅读平台功能及儿童数字阅读推广实践活动。[结果/结论]美国公共图书馆为儿童提供个性化数字阅读分区,丰富的多媒体资源,联合各方力量协作开展儿童数字分级阅读推广活动。建议我国公共图书馆:提高儿童数字资源质量;注重儿童年龄差异;加强多方合作,拓宽儿童数字阅读活动渠道。

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Investigating the current situation of children's digital reading promotion in American public library can provide reference for the practice of children's digital reading and promotion in our country.[Method/process] This paper divided library into nine grades according to the service population,and five public libraries were taken out randomly at each level. Then, it investigated the function of digital reading platforms and the practices of children digital reading promotion of 45 public libraries in America by the method of network investigation. [Result/conclusion] American public libraries provide personalized digital reading areas and rich multimedia resources, and carry out children's graded reading promotion activities by strengthen multilateral cooperation. Finally, this paper suggests that our public libraries should do the following things: improve the quality of children's digital resources; pay attention to children's age differences; strengthen multi-cooperation, and broaden the channels of children's digital reading activities.
