Abstract

Taking the website usability surveys implemented by the Michigan University library as a study case, this paper evaluates and discusses several investigation and analysis methods which were applied to them. These methods include the interviews method based on the group post-it note exercise and individual transcript analysis, and the participatory methods based on the X/O and card sorting analysis. Finally, it proposes some inspiration for Chinese university libraries to do such surveys.
