国外图书情报领域数字人文工作需求及职能分析——基于ALA JobLIST的分析

Job Requirement and Function Analysis of Digital Humanities in Foreign Library and Information Field

摘要: [目的/意义] 通过评估数字人文领域相关招聘广告中所描述的知识技能要求,识别该领域从业者所需要的任职资格和职能职责。[方法/过程] 以美国图书馆协会(ALA)2006-2018年与数字人文相关的招聘广告为数据来源,共收集职位名称中包含数字人文的核心工作72个及工作描述中包含数字人文的相关工作232个,对其职位名称、教育背景要求、经验要求、知识和技能要求以及职能职责进行分析。[结果/结论] 数字人文领域对图书情报人才的需求逐年增加,图书情报学可以从数字项目、管理、区域研究/学科专家、信息素养/培训、参考咨询等方面参与数字人文领域,所需要的技能主要包括:数字学术和数字人文相关的研究工具和技术;编程、脚本语言、软件和平台的知识;出版,教学经验和交流能力。

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] The purpose of this study is to assess the current state of required and desirable qualifications and knowledge described in the job advertisements related to digital humanities professionals and related positions.[Method/process] 72 core job advertisements and 232 related job advertisements between 2006 and 2018 were collected from ALA JobLIST. Position title, educational background, experience, knowledge and skills, and duties were examined and analyzed.[Result/conclusion] The results of the analysis show that the demand for library science information science graduates in the field of digital humanities is increasing year by year. Library and information science can participate in digital humanities from digital projects, management, regional research/subject experts, information literacy/training, reference consultation and other aspects. The skills required mainly include:digital scholarship and digital humanities research tools and techniques; knowledge of programming, scripting languages, software and platforms; publishing, teaching and communication skills.
