Research on Influencing Factors and Their Configuration Effect of Mobile Search Behavior Based on HSM

摘要: [目的/意义] 以启发式-系统式模型为理论基础,研究移动搜索行为的影响因素及组态效应。[方法/过程] 通过问卷调查收集用户数据,利用结构方程模型和模糊集定性比较分析法(fsQCA)探究影响移动搜索行为的启发式和系统式影响因素及其组态。[结果/结论] 结构方程模型计算结果表明,启发式移动搜索行为与系统式移动搜索行为的前因变量均为信源可信度、搜索容易度与内容相关性,内容准确性对启发式和系统式移动搜索行为的影响均不显著;fsQCA计算结果表明,搜索移动行为呈现出2种模式:有限条件下的最省力搜索模式和任务驱动下的有效搜索模式。本研究揭示了移动搜索行为复杂的影响机制,为提升移动搜索服务和优化用户搜索策略提供一定指导。

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Building on Heuristic-Systematic Model (HSM), the paper is to explore the influencing factors of mobile search behavior and their configuration effect. [Method/process] By collecting data with questionnaires, the paper combined structural equation model (SEM) with fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to investigate the impact of heuristic and systematic cues on mobile search behavior and to ascertain the configuration effect of different influencing factors. [Result/conclusion] SEM results indicate that information source credibility, the ease of search and content correlation are antecedents of heuristic and systematic search behavior. However, content accuracy has no significant effect on these two search behaviors. Meanwhile, the fsQCA results recognize two configuration models to affect heuristic and systematic search behavior, including labor saving search model under limited conditions and effective search model driven by task. The complex influence mechanism of mobile search has been explored in the paper that not only enriches the existing research of mobile search, but also provides useful guidances for improvement of mobile search services and optimization of user search strategies.
