学科动能理论及其在学科影响力评价中的应用——以情报学为例

Disciplinary Kinetic Energy Theory and Its Application in the Evaluation of Subject Influence: Taking Information Science as an Example

摘要: [目的/意义] 在提倡学科交融的新文科建设背景下,探究学科对其他学科影响力的评价方法,对于把握学科话语权的提升方向具有重要意义。[方法/过程] 将学科看作运动中的物体,提出学科动能理论,探索基于该理论评价学科影响力的应用方法,从引用质量和速度方面构建模型,测度学科作为跨学科推动力对其他学科产生的动能,并以情报学为例进行实证分析。 [结果/结论] 实证研究发现,该方法在识别、促进跨学科高水平创新、知识输出能力和知识传递新颖度等方面具有一定优势;情报学对管理学的影响最大,对电子技术、计算机科学、卫生管理学的影响力较大,对新闻与传播学的影响潜力较大。后续将进行多学科对比研究,以相对视角评价学科影响力的变化情况。

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] In the context of new liberal arts construction that advocates the integration of disciplines, it is of great significance to explore the evaluation method of the influence of the discipline on other disciplines for grasping the direction of the improvement of the discourse power of the discipline. [Method/Process] Considering the discipline as an object in motion, this paper put forward disciplinary kinetic energy theory. The paper explored the application methods to evaluate the influence of disciplines based on the theory, built models from the aspects of citation quality and speed, measured the kinetic energy of the discipline as an interdisciplinary impetus for other disciplines, and took information science as an example for empirical analysis. [Result/Conclusion] The empirical research finds that the method has advantages in identifying and promoting interdisciplinary high-level innovation, knowledge output ability and knowledge transfer novelty; information science has the greatest impact on management science, has relatively great impact on electronic technology, computer science, and health management science, and has great potential to influence journalism and communication science. Follow-up multi-disciplinary comparative studies will be conducted to evaluate the changes in the influence of disciplines from a relative perspective.
