从图情档到“信息资源管理”的变革与发展——汲取国外四所TOP高校硕士培养的经验

The Revolution and Development of the Change from “Library, Information and Archives Management” to “Information Resources Management”: Learn the Master's Degree Talents Cultivating Experience from Four Foreign TOP Universities for Reference

摘要: [目的/意义] 图书情报与档案管理一级学科更名为信息资源管理具有很强的合理性,是仔细斟酌之后实现的多年之愿,更名可以给学科带来一系列优势。但毋庸置疑的是,更名不能改变本学科在建设和发展中的既存问题,因此更名的同时还需要进行学科改革,正本清源。[方法/过程] 在介绍一级学科更名的背景及借鉴国外高校硕士学位人才培养经验的必要性基础上,通过分析、总结信息资源管理领域的四所国外世界TOP高校的硕士学位培养特点,同时深入学习该领域排名世界第一的英国谢菲尔德信息学院在硕士人才培养方面的优势特色,为更名后我国信息资源管理学科的建设与发展提供经得起实践检验的参考。[结果/结论] 基于国外经验,认为我国信息资源管理学科的建设和发展有如下建议:第一,找准学科定位,明确学科目标,形成学科特色;第二,丰富该学科的研究生培养方式,夯实研究生教育;第三,培育满足信息社会需求的复合型信息资源管理人才,勇担时代大任;第四,与相关行业或领域建立合作伙伴关系,推动学科创新;第五,建立信息资源管理学科的教育认证标准;第六,加强我国信息资源管理领域的英文期刊建设。通过6点针对性的建议,为学科未来的改革指明方向与目标。

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] It is highly reasonable to change the first-level subject's name of library, information and archives management to information resources management, which is the wish of the field after careful consideration for many years. The name change can bring a series of advantages to the subject. But there is no doubt that changing the name cannot change the existing problems in the construction and development of this subject, so it is necessary to carry out subject reform at the same time, which should focus on its original source.[Method/Process] On the basis of introducing the background of the name change of the first-level subject and the necessity of learning from the cultivating experience of master's degree talents in foreign universities, this paper analyzed and summarized the characteristics of the master's degree program of four foreign TOP universities in the world in the field of information resources management. Then mainly learn the advantages and characteristics of the master's degree program of Sheffield Information School, which ranks the first in the world in this field. This paper provided a practical reference for the construction and development of Chinese information resources management subject after the name change.[Result/Conclusion] Based upon foreign experience, this paper concludes that the construction and development of the information resources management subject in China shall consider following suggestions:firstly, to define the orientation and target of this subject and form subject's unique features; secondly, enrich the education methods of graduate students and strengthen their education; thirdly, cultivate compound information resources management talents to meet the needs of the information society and bravely take the great responsibility of this age; fourthly, establish partnerships with related industries or fields to promote subject innovation; fifthly, to establish the certification standards of information resources management's education. In the end, strengthen the construction of English periodicals in the field of information resources management in China. Through aforementioned six suggestions, this paper aims to point out the direction and target for the future reform of the subject.
