数字学术服务的内容与形式:一项系统综述和比较研究

The Contents and Forms of Digital Scholarship Services: A Systematic Review and Comparative Study

摘要: [目的/意义] 从阐释数字学术的基本问题到进一步对比数字学术服务的内容特点,以期为图书馆及出版机构的研究者与从业者理解、探索、推进数字学术服务提供理论和实践两个维度的现实参考。[方法/过程] 首先采用系统综述方法梳理数字学术概念内涵的现有研究概貌,展示数字学术对不同学科领域产生的影响和改变,并呈现连接图书馆、出版机构与数字学术活动的主要方式。然后,采用比较研究方法对15所图书馆2017年和2022年数字学术服务的名称与形式、内容及分类、框架要素、组织形式等进行对比分析。此外,采用比较研究方法对图书馆和出版机构数字学术服务的内容与形式进行对比分析。[结果/结论] 人们对数字学术的认识已经相对清晰,数字学术内容丰富、影响多样,其核心在于数字技术赋能;图书馆和出版机构的数字学术服务角色源于传承和争取。从2017年到2022年,图书馆数字学术服务的名称与形式、内容及分类的整体情况有变化但不明显,个体图书馆的变化较大;图书馆与出版机构的数字学术服务在内容上互为补充、在形式上各有特色;数字学术及数字学术服务将在数字技术的驱动下持续发展

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] From understanding the basic problem of digital scholarship to further elaborating on contents and characteristics of digital scholarship services, this paper intends to provide realistic theoretical and practical references for researchers and practitioners of libraries and publishing institutions to understand, explore and promote digital scholarship services. [Method/Process] Firstly, systematic review method was used to sort out the existing research on how to define digital scholarship, to demonstrate the impact of digital scholarship on disciplines, and to present the main ways to connect libraries, publishers and digital scholarship. Secondly, comparative study was applied to conduct a comparative analysis of digital scholarship services from 15 academic libraries in 2017 and 2022, the issues compared include names and forms, contents and its classification, framework elements, and department and staffing. In addition, comparative study was once again applied to analyze the differences of contents and forms libraries’ and publishers’ digital scholarship services. [Result/Conclusion] People have a relatively clear understanding of digital scholarship, which is rich in content and diverse in influence, and its core lies in the empowerment of digital technology. The role of digital scholarship services of libraries and publishers comes from inheritance and struggle. From year of 2017 to 2022, the overall situation of names and forms, and contents and its classification of libraries’ digital scholarship services has changed but not obviously, while individual libraries have changed greatly. Meanwhile, digital scholarship services provided by libraries and by publishers complement to each other in contents and differ from each other in forms. Digital scholarship and digital scholarship services will continue to develop under the drive of digital technologies.
