Survey and Analysis on Supplementary Materials in Library and Information Science Journals Indexed by SSCI

摘要:

分析SSCI图书馆学情报学期刊补充材料存缴政策,以2012年72种LIS期刊作者投稿须知以及在线文章为样本,从期刊数量、文章数量、补充材料类型、功能、格式5个角度进行详细论述。研究发现大型出版商更倾向于制定相关的补充材料政策,有的期刊尽管没有补充材料存缴政策,但也接受相关的补充材料。本研究结果可以为期刊或出版商制定更为细分的、学科性的补充材料政策提供建议。

Abstract:

This study aims to analyze the supplementary material deposit policy of Library and Information Science periodicals indexed by SSCI. Taking 72 kinds of instructions to authors and online issue of LIS periodical in 2012 as sample, the paper analyzes them in five aspects including the number of journals and articles, supplementary material type, function and formats. The research shows that large publishers tend to formulate relevant policies. Though a large portion of periodicals without supplementary material deposit policy, they also accept relevant supplementary materials. This research achievement could supply proposals to a more classified and specialized supplementary material policy.
