Knowledge integration is the major driving force of knowledge innovating and competitive advantage establishing of research university. To reveal knowledge integration mechanism of research universities orientated on knowledge innovation and discover its inherent laws plays an important role in improving the knowledge integration effect. Based on analysis of connotation of knowledge integration, this paper concludes that the knowledge integration mechanism of knowledge innovating of research universities includes adaptation and transformation mechanism, complementary and coordination mechanism, dynamic and preferred mechanism, and self-organization evolution mechanism.
