利用参考文献的学科分类分析图书情报领域的学科交叉性

摘要

认为文献、研究领域的学科交叉性一般使用其参考文献的所属学科分类(subject category, SC)来分析,而WoS(Web of Science)提供的参考文献数据并不包含学科分类,因此,有必要研究如何通过参考文献获取学科分类并分析学科交叉性。以图书情报领域为例,从学科分类的数量、分布以及差异性的角度分析图书情报领域的学科交叉性并以叠加图(overlay map)进行可视化。指出利用参考文献的学科分类分析学科交叉性的方法可以扩展到其他研究领域。

Abstract

The interdisciplinary of papers and research fields could be analyzed by subject categories (SCs) of published papers’ references, but Web of Science does not offer the data of SCs of references. It is necessary to obtain SCs via references and analyze the interdisciplinary. This paper analyzes the interdisciplinary of library and information science by variety, distribution and disparity of subject categories, and visualizes it by overlay map. This method could be extended to other research fields.
