Through the convenience sampling method and the specific task testing, this paper investigates and analyzes the action characteristics and affective state of Chinese children when they retrieve and read digital resources in the International children's digital library online. It abstracts a general empirical model of information retrieval behavior of children, in order to provide better practical experience for the construction and improvement of Chinese children's digital library.
