With the development of new information environment, library services concept and user information behavior change, digital library information resources discoverability evolves. This paper summaries three discovery patterns of information resources of digital library, which are reveal discovery pattern, direct discovery pattern and indirect discovery embedded pattern of information resources. It expounds and compares the meaning and characteristics of three patterns. Finally, this paper discusses the development of resource discovery of digital library, and proposes academic contextual discovery pattern.
