摘要

从information commons(信息共享空间)入手,对高校图书馆各种共享空间模式的发展轨迹进行梳理,从内涵和特征角度,对高校图书馆共享空间从信息共享空间到学习共享空间和研究共享空间等不同发展阶段的服务模式进行比较。在介绍南非开普敦大学图书馆研究共享空间建设状况的基础上,提出高校图书馆共享空间建设和发展的对策建议。

Abstract

This paper discusses the definition of information commons, and the development trends of information commons in the academic library, and compares the three kinds of commons——IC,LC and RC. And then it introduces the establishment and assessment of research commons in the University of Cape Town. Finally the paper gives some advices to establish the information commons in academic libraries.
