The Discussion on the Design and Production of the University Library Online Tuition——Based on the PRIMO Database

It investigates the online tutorial of the ACRL PRIMO database in nearly 3 years including a total of 42 items. Then the commonality of the online tutorial are summarized from the general outline, teaching strategies, production technology and resources publication. The article points out there are three characteristics of the online tutorial, including the mainstream of elearning; the edutainment strategies and the scenario-based learning. Ultimately, it puts forwards three proposals, that is the design and production of the University Library online tutorial should be from simple to complex and seek cooperation broadly; the emphasis on content selection and organization; learn from practical outcomes of elearning and the scientific use of the ideas of learning.
