According to the commentaries and analyses of the current seats management system in university libraries, the seats management system of the university library based on entrance guard linkage mechanism is designed and implemented. This system takes readers' verified demands into design, considering both users' interests and scientific management of seats. By doing this, it not only avoids huge investment in hardware, but also promotes the scientific and effective management of library seats, preventing the occurrence of seat-occupying.
