The paper analyses the statue quo of library consortia in ASEAN and summarizes three characteristics, including uneven development, politics,economy and culture being closely related with, and frequent international communication. It points out some revelations to China: strive to acquire international funds, construct nationwide library consortia, and transcend library consortia to culture service organization consortia.
