A Research Review on Information Needs of Network Users Published at Home and Abroad

通过文献计量、信息可视化分析、定性分析等研究方法对近10年国内外网络用户信息需求研究的文献进行梳理比较，可以发现国内外研究在时间分布、期刊分布、关键词及研究前沿节点知识图谱的特点、引文及主题内容方面的情况。从研究方法、相关理论基础、网络用户信息需求的内容、类型与特点、需求群体、影响因素、用户模型等几个方面分析国内外近10年网络用户信息需求的相关研究成果，发现基础理论研究相对薄弱，缺乏对网络用户需求本质的研究，理论联系实际的效果不明显。未来研究可深入系统地研究网络用户信息需求的形成机理、演变规律及配套的信息服务机制，努力提升研究的理论深度，并促进实践应用。

With the methods of bibliometrics, information visualization and qualitative analysis, the study summarizes and compares research papers on information needs of network users published at home and abroad during the recent 10 years. It gets an understanding of literature characteristics in terms of the time and journals distribution, mapping knowledge of keywords and research frontier nodes, citations and subjects. Chinese and foreign researches have accumulated a certain amount of results from the aspects of research methods, related basic theories, contents, types, characteristics, populations and influencing factors of information needs of network users, and user models. However, the research on the basic theory and the nature of network users' needs is relatively weak; it is ineffectiveness of the link between theory and practice. Future studies could focus on the formation mechanism and evolution of the information needs of network users as well as supporting services mechanisms, with efforts to improve the theoretical depth of research and the practical applications.
