Massive Open Online Course(MOOC)has been a hot topic in high education in recent years. Libraries abroad take an active part in the MOOCs movement in different ways. The copyright service is the most important way to participate in MOOCs for academic libraries. The Duke University Library provides copyright service from three aspects, including fair use guidelines, permissions requests and assistance locating open access alternatives. The service has achieved success and was recognized by the teachers and students. We should learn the service mode and the extension of OA from the Duke University Library.
