The poor situation of scientists' scientific communication and the major reasons are analyzed. The ecosystem of altmetrics is illustrated and then novel online scientific communication pattern is constructed. The transition mechanism and filter mechanism are demonstrated in detail, online scientific communication process based on altmetrics is further depicted, and the mechanism for the novel pattern to eliminate the barriers of previous online scientific communication is revealed.
