摘要

通过对52所iSchool学院网站调查,将iSchool学生科研训练的形式归纳为研究方法类课程、科研研讨会、支持学生科研的项目、学术会议、参与导师科研项目、科研活动或比赛。以威斯康星大学密尔沃基分校信息学院为例,总结出iSchool学生科研训练模式是科研基本知识学习、科研能力训练、科研实践、科研资源支持4个环节的有机结合,具有循序渐进、互相渗透的特点。建议对iSchool的学习应统筹各个环节,注意次序性,并根据学生的培养层次提供有针对性的科研训练。

Abstract

According to an investigation of 52 iSchools' websites, it shows that the ways of student research training include research methods courses, seminars, research support programs for students, academic conferences, participation in mentor's research programs, as well as research activities and competitions. Taking the Information School of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as an example, it concludes that research training mode of iSchool student is an organic combination of four links: basic research knowledge study, research skill training, research practice and research resources support, which is clear in order and interpenetrated. It suggests that learning about iSchool should be based on its mode, instead of simply copying particular ways.
