A complete information lifecycle can be divided into four stages, value formation, value activation and accumulation, value realization and value extinction according to the process of information value movement. When the information was used not only by the original information ecological chain but also by several loose-linked ecological chain, the value of information may increase irregularly and irrelevantly for many times. This situation can be defined as information lifecycle overlap. Furthermore, from the perspective of the behavior of information subject, there are three types of information lifecycle overlap, mutual benefit, one-side priority and gain at others' expense. Finally the dissemination of information follows user-centered net model in ubiquitous information environment, which promotes information lifecycle overlapping, information value fluctuation and risk expansion in information dissemination process, and brings greater challenges to information management practices.
