The paper studied on the acquisition mode,principles of acquisition and library collection of books published in HK & Taiwan by taking Beijing Normal University Library as an example.In order to give suggestions for acquisition librarians working at academic libraries,the paper analyzed challenges and problems in their work of purchasing books published in HK & Taiwan and provided some useful strategies in the end,which are helpful to the development of collection construction of academic libraries.
