期刊首次被引速度指数的改进及其实证研究

摘要

认为L.Egghe等人在2011年所定义的首次被引速度指数(First-Citation-Speed-Index,简记为FCSI),在用于评价期刊的首次被引速度时,存在区分度小的缺陷.期刊的零被引率在很大程度上影响到首次被引速度.引入零被引率,对首次被引速度指数计算方法进行改进,选择Web of Science数据库中经济学学科的3种期刊,使用在2004年出版的所有文献10年间的引文数据进行实证性研究,结果显示:改进后的FCSI能较好地反映期刊的首次被引速度.

Abstract

L.Egghe etc.defined a First-Citation-Speed-Index (FCSI) in 2011 to evaluate the journal's first citation speed.But this method has an imperfection of small degree of differentiation.As the journal's non-citation rate has a great effect on the journal's first citation speed,the paper introduces non-citation rate to improve its calculation method.Then it makes an empirical research with literature's ten-year citation data,published in three journals on the Economics Subject in the database of Web of Science in 2004.The FCSI improves has a good reflection on the journal's first citation speed.
