摘要

[目的/意义] 图书馆焦虑是影响我国高校学生图书馆资源利用的主要障碍,对图书馆焦虑及其影响因素进行的研究,有助于图书馆更深入地了解用户心理,进而提升为用户服务的质量。[方法/过程] 采用访谈法、问卷调查法、数理统计等方法,从资源、检索、制度、员工、知识、舒适度和情感7个维度及用户的一般人口学特征、个人特质、信息素养培训状况3方面来研究我国高校学生图书馆焦虑现状及其影响因素。[结果/结论] 通过构建图书馆焦虑测量常模,发现我国高校学生图书馆焦虑处于中度焦虑水平。研究还表明,资源、检索和制度维度是影响图书馆焦虑的主要因素,用户在各维度的图书馆焦虑程度与其性别、年级、年龄、学习成绩、所属高校类型、一般性焦虑和自尊状况以及是否参加图书馆培训和信息检索课程等自身因素有关。本研究为我国图书馆焦虑实证研究提供测量工具;了解图书馆焦虑形成的原因及其影响因素,提出解决图书馆焦虑的具体策略,为图书馆开展读者服务工作提供参考。

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Library anxiety is one of the main obstacles that have impact on university students in using library resources. This study will help libraries understand user's psychology better so as to improve the quality of user service.[Method/process] With interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics method, the status of library anxiety of university students and its influence factors in China are studied from seven dimensions including resources, retrieval, regulation, staff, knowledge, comfort degree and affection, and three aspects of users including demographic characteristics, personal traits and trainings of information literacy.[Result/conclusion] By constructing measurement norm of library anxiety, this study shows that university students in China experience a moderate level of library anxiety. The findings suggest that resource, retrieval,regulation are the main factors impacting library anxiety, and that users' library anxiety levels in each dimension are related to their self-factors such as genders, grades, ages, academic performances, university types, situations of general anxiety, self-esteem, and participation in library training and information retrieval courses. A measurement tool is constructed for empirical research on library anxiety. The reasons for library anxiety and its influencing factors are discussed and the specific strategies to solve the library anxiety are proposed, so that library can carry out the user services better in the future.
