[目的/意义]了解美国常春藤联盟8所高校图书馆面向校外读者服务情况,为我国高校图书馆开展此项服务提供借鉴。[方法/过程]采用网络调查法,从开放对象、入馆方式、收费情况和开放权限4个方面收集、整理和分析常春藤联盟大学图书馆面向校外读者服务的详细信息。[结果/结论]美国常春藤联盟高校图书馆的校外读者范围广、服务人性化,制度较为完善。我国高校图书馆应积极转变思维观念,提高服务质量,完善开放制度,积极及时公示宣传和争取多方政策与资金支持,保障开放持续可行等。

[Purpose/significance] This paper obtains the services for off-campus readers of the Ivy League University Libraries, to provide reference for the University Library in China.[Method/process] With an online survey, it collects, summarizes and analyzes the services for off-campus readers of the Ivy League University Libraries from four aspects, including the open object, the way of entering the libraries, fee standards and off-campus readers' rights.[Result/conclusion] The services for off-campus readers of the Ivy League University Libraries have the majority of readers, humanized characteristic and reasonable system. University libraries in China should actively change the thinking concept, pay attention to improve the service quality, improve the open system, and strive for multi policy and financial support, to ensure the off-campus readers' right to use a library.
