[Purpose/significance] For concluding revelatory suggestion to Chinese librarianship, this paper describes the innovative services conditions of 20 libraries in Illinois State of the United States of America.[Method/process] It analyzes source data, such as field notes, interviewing audios, videos and pictures with the help of computer-assisted qualitative data analyzing software NVivo 11. The analysis of coding nodes is performed using the functions of word frequency analysis and clustering algorithm, and the conceptual model of coding nodes is generated.[Result/conclusion] It summarizes the thought-provoking meaning to Chinese libraries from the perspectives of the development of readers' innovative capabilities, the equitable premise of innovative services, personalized basis of innovative services and the support of intelligent technologies.
