[目的/意义]随着我国知识产权战略的深入实施，专利信息服务已成为大学图书馆服务转型的重要方向。美国是世界上最早建立知识产权法律和制度的国家之一，通过在现有各类图书馆中认定专利与商标资源中心（Patent and Trademark Resource Centers，PTRC），形成覆盖全美的专利信息服务体系，分析和研究PTRC的运行及服务实践，对于推进和发展我国大学图书馆的专利信息服务具有重要的现实意义。[方法/过程]选取14所被认定为PTRC的美国大学图书馆作为研究对象，通过文献调研以及访问图书馆网站的方法，对专利信息服务的内容及开展情况进行分析和研究。[结果/结论]借鉴美国大学PTRC图书馆的实践经验，提出我国大学图书馆可以通过组建联盟，建立共同发展机制，建立专利服务馆员的人才培养体系和专家咨询制度，切实做好专利信息基础服务，通过举办各种专利信息推广活动培育自己的用户群。
[Purpose/significance] With the deepening of intellectual property strategy, patent information service is becoming an important direction of service transformation in Chinese university library. The United States is one of the first countries in the world to establish laws and regulations on intellectual property rights. By setting up Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC), a stable patent information service system has formed across the United States. It has realistic significance to study the patent information service in the American university PTRC libraries. [Method/process] 14 PTRC libraries in the American university were selected as the research object to investigate the development of patent information service in the American university library. The research was done by browsing the web of the libraries and retrieving documents. [Result/conclusion] It put forward that the university libraries in China can form alliance to promote the development of patent information service together and establish training system of patent librarians, and special attention should be paid to basic service and the cultivation of user groups.
