[目的/意义] 文献剔旧工作是图书馆保持馆藏活力、扩展馆藏空间及实现多元化空间再造利用的重要手段。分析和研究国外大学图书馆文献剔旧项目的实践方法和经验，以期为我国大学图书馆剔旧工作的开展提供借鉴和思路。[方法/过程] 以OCLC"剔旧经验"栏目中近5年（2013-2018年）的15个案例作为研究对象，围绕着图书馆剔旧项目的方法、人员组成、流程、对象及标准、视野格局、侧重点、剔旧资源去向及项目收获共8个方面进行分析，归纳其特点及成功经验。[结果/结论] 大学图书馆开展剔旧项目需确定合理的剔旧标准、项目流程和方式，科学安排人员分工，与院系保持持续沟通、鼓励教工充分参与，充分考虑各种载体类型的资源，放眼全局、注重资源协调和共享，并可考虑合作建立剔旧图书的处理渠道，建立常态的馆藏评价体制。
[Purpose/significance] Literature weeding is an important way for libraries to maintain collection vitality, expand collection space and realize diversified space reutilization. Analyzing and studying the practical methods and experiences of the weedingproject in foreign university librariesis in order to provide reference and ideas for Chinese university libraries.[Method/process] The 15 cases presented in the column of OCLC "old experience" in the past five years (2013-2018) were selected as research objects. The characteristics and successful experience were summarized by analyzing the methods, personnel composition, process, objects and standards, visual field pattern, focus, harvest and the direction of weeded resources.[Result/conclusion] It is necessary for university library weeding to determine reasonable standards, processes and methods, scientific personnel arrangement and division of labor, keep constant communication with faculty and encourage the staff to fully participate in, give full consideration to all kinds of vehicle types of resources, pay attention to resources coordination and sharing, and we can consider to set up weeded resources processing channel and establish a normal collection evaluation system.
