[目的/意义] 蓝皮书自清末引入中国，历经100多年已发展成为具有中国特色的蓝皮书形式。本研究旨在全面展现中国蓝皮书的发展演变以及影响其变化的各项因素。[方法/过程] 根据中国蓝皮书的发展特点，将其发展历程划分为三个阶段：引入时期（1985年之前）；产生时期（1985年至1999年）；繁荣时期（2000年以后），并对这三个阶段中蓝皮书的形态变化和主题领域等情况进行简要概述和相关数据可视化呈现。[结果/结论] "蓝皮书"一词在不同的国家和时期具有不同的含义，如今，蓝皮书已由欧美的官方文件转变为中国的研究报告。中国的蓝皮书出版根植于整个社会体系，用以记录、分析和预测多个领域的发展情况。影响蓝皮书在中国发展变化的因素主要包括：政治意识形态、社会条件、出版机构、历史性的选择和惯例。
[Purpose/significance] Blue books are followed from their introduction into China under the Qing government. Through a subsequent century of formal diversification and proliferation, blue books have developed into versions with Chinese characteristics. This paper reported on the evolution of the blue book in China, and on the various factors which have influenced that evolution. [Method/process] This paper suggests a three-stage model of the blue book's history in China:Introduction (before 1985), Generation (from 1985 to 1999), and Proliferation (after 2000), and provides an overview and data visualization on form changes and subject-area distribution of the blue book in the three stages. [Result/conclusion] The term "blue book" has acquired somewhat different meanings in various countries and periods. Today, the blue book has been transformed from an official document in a European/US setting into a research report in China. Blue book publishing in China is rooted in the social system at large to record, analyze and predict the developments of a number of areas. Contextual factors affecting the blue book's development include:political ideology, social conditions, influence of publishing houses, historical choice and convention.
