国外高校图书馆研究支持服务及馆员角色转变探究

摘要

[目的/意义] 分析国外高校馆员的角色转变,了解时代变化对馆员职业发展的要求,并对馆员能力提升和如何应对科研环境变革提供建议。[方法/过程] 以国外10所一流高校图书馆研究支持服务主体为研究对象,在文献研究和调查研究基础上,利用对比分析法从岗位职责和能力条件分析其扮演的角色转变。[结果/结论] 研究表明,国外高校图书馆员在传统学科角色之外,还扮演着管理者、引领者与教育家3种角色并呈现出"职责分工细化与素质专业化" "服务进程协调推进" "职业成长持续化"3个特点。

Abstract

[Purpose/Significance] By analyzing the role transformation of university librarians in foreign countries, this paper understands the requirements of the changing times for the career development of librarians, and provides suggestions on improving the ability of librarians and how to deal with the change of the scientific research environment.[Method/Process] Taking the research support service subjects of 10 first-class university libraries abroad as the research object, this paper used the comparative analysis method toanalyzetheir roletransformation from the post responsibilities and ability conditions on the basis of literature research and investigation research.[Result/Conclusion] Studies have shown that foreign university librarians, in addition to the role of traditional disciplines, theyalso play three roles of managers, leaders and educators, and show three characteristics of "detailed division of responsibilities and quality specialization", "coordinated promotion of service process" and "sustainable career growth".
