我国数字图书馆研究的历史起源和演化研究——基于RootCite和CSSCI的实证方法

摘要

[目的/意义] 探究我国数字图书馆研究的历史起源和演化情况,推进国内数字图书馆研究的进一步建设与发展。[方法/过程] 利用自主开发的RootCite工具和中文社会科学索引CSSCI数据库进行参考文献出版年图谱分析,识别对我国数字图书馆研究的起源和演化起到重要作用的中外文献、杰出学者和出版物,并与国外数字图书馆研究的相应情况进行比较。[结果/结论] RootCite结果显示:1900-2020年间,有27篇经典文献对我国数字图书馆研究的起源和演化起到了重要作用,包括8篇外文文献和19篇中文文献。其次,从我国数字图书馆研究社区中识别得到的27篇经典文献,与国际数字图书馆研究社区中识别的经典文献存在较大的差异,尤其在学科领域形成之后。最后,本研究证明了基于RootCite和CSSCI的实证方法用于识别我国社会科学领域研究的历史根源和演化进展的可行性。

Abstract

[Purpose/Significance] This article aims to explore the historical origins and evolution of digital library research in China, and promote its further construction and development of it in China. [Method/Process] Using the self-developed RootCite tool and the Chinese Social Science Index (CSSCI) to conduct the RPYS (Reference Publication Year Spectroscopy) analysis, this paper identifies the Chinese and foreign literature, outstanding scholars and publications that were important to the historical roots and evolution of the digital library research in China. Moreover, we also compare the results of RootCite with those of the digital library research worldwide. [Result/Conclusion] The results of RootCite show that, between 1900-2020, there were 27 classical works playing great roles in the historical roots and evolution of digital library research in China, including 19 Chinese works and 8 non-Chinese works. Second, these 27 seminal works identified from the research community of Chinese digital library, have significant differences from those identified from the international research community, especially after the formation of the research community. Finally, this research also demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed empirical method based on RootCite and the CSSCI for the identification of historical roots and evolution of the social sciences in China.
