Construction of the Concept System of Information Resource Management Based on ISO704: 2009

It is important to construct concept system for discipline development and its terminology work. However, little attention has been paid to the study in the field of information resources management (IRM). Based on the Terminology work-principles and methods of ISO704:2009 and its concept relationships between different terminologies, this paper studies concepts and definitions of IRM in the typical monographs, analyzes their objects, methods, processes and goals, and synthesizes the knowledge systems of each book. Finally, it constructs a concept system of IRM. Based on an empirical research on the core keywords of the core journals from CSSCI, this paper justifies and improves the concept system.
