Analysis and Prospect of Public Library Development Based on Data Information

This paper takes the Public Library Service Standard and Public Library Evaluation Criteria as the main analysis object, and discusses the ten transformation trends in terms of the data development evolving of public libraries. The trends include the data processing from resource data to efficient data, from hardware data to software data, from traditional data to innovative data, from subject data to object data, from internal data to external ones, from static data to dynamic data, from single data to integrated data, from sample data to full-scale data, from developing data to green data, and from the reality data to target data. Finally, it makes an analysis and a broad view on the future development of public libraries.
