Analysis on the Western Reading Culture Construction Based on the Reading Characteristics

Taking the Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture of Xiangxi in the western minorities for example, this paper deeply discusses the minority, regional and era characteristics of their contemporary reading culture from the perspectives of reading consciousness, reading resources, reading ability, reading popularization and reading forms. According to these characteristics, this paper puts forward the ideas that the construction of the current reading culture in the western minorities should focus on the minority characteristic and the cultural heritage, the regionalism and the reading promotion, the contemporaneity and the reading services.
