Abstract

Drawing on the human information processing model of cognitive psychology, we analyze the entrepreneurial risk identification modes based on the perspective of information processing, and conclude that the process of entrepreneurial risk identification has two procedures: information perception and information discrimination, then discuss the influence mechanism of the social network and entrepreneur traits on the information perception and information discrimination respectively. This paper built a "social network-entrepreneur trait-entrepreneurial risk" analytical framework to reveal the internal causes for entrepreneurial success or failure, and further enrich and perfect the entrepreneurial risk management theory and the information processing theory.
