Abstract

The emergence of micro-information environment brings a new challenge to the existing library service models. The library should form and develop its own micro-information ecological environment through constructing micro-service systems. Realizing micro-service can start with fragmenting traditional library services, integrating micro-content, developing new services which fit to mobile terminals and introducing mobile SNS into library services. Micro-service needs to be well merged into the current library service system. The library can utilize various micro-information technologies to satisfy users' personal information requirements. User-centered service assessment system should be applied for librarians' micro-service performance. A new multi-level library service system, which includes both micro-service and traditional service, is expected to be built gradually.
