Abstract

This paper taking the Chinese firms, who set up a competitive technical intelligence function or conduct technical intelligence activities as the research object, did a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the relationship between the enterprise competitive technical intelligence activities and technological innovation performance. The theoretical framework was proposed in which intelligence resources allocation and intelligence process activities and organizational mode have a positive effect on capability of technical intelligence enterprise which eventually will affect the technological innovation performance. Through questionnaire survey and empirical analysis on 131 firms in China, this paper analyzes in detail the mechanism of how firms’ technical intelligence resources, process actives and organizational model affect the capability of technical intelligence and thus the innovation performance recurring to SPSS and SEM (Structural Equation Model).
