The Social Service Ability and Ability Construction of University Libraries

Opening to the society is the developing direction of university libraries,but its social service ability is weak. University libraries need to reshape public service spirit, position dual functions clearly, optimize the structure of human resources, extend the field of public service, and improve the public service system to achieve social service capacity rebuilding. University libraries should provide personality and deep-going service for government, enterprise and the public. Through serving for the public, it can realize its think tanks value, economic value, social values and cultural values and so on.
