From the form and content, the paper compares and analizes the new Novelty Search Report Writing Standard for Sci-tech Novelty Retrieval Workstation of Ministry of Education with the trial standard which promulgated in 2009, focuses on the characteristics of new standard, including light process heavy conclusion, coherance, appropriate flexibility, timeliness etc, and points out some questions and suggestions in the end.
