Left-behind children are the special of vulnerable groups in the process of transformation in China. This paper makes a survey in Chongqing and analyzes the present situation of cultural needs of left-behind children. The result shows that the spiritual demand for left-behind children is not high, with narrow knowledge spectrum, lacking leisure-time activities and reading behavior science. Besides, their cultural life satisfaction is low. On the basis of problem, this paper analyzes the cultural life difficulties for the left-behind children, and gives relevant countermeasures for rural library.
