Research on Interoperability Framework for Open Resources

Abstract

Firstly, four kinds of roles are concluded from the systems of different stakeholders based on the functions and roles in the interoperability for open resources: content submitter, content manager and publisher, content consumer, and service supporter. The interoperability framework for open resources is also defined. Its purposes, functions, instances of the components of the framework are described. Secondly, the four-layer reference model of the interoperability for open resources and the services and interface offered by every layer are defined on the abstracting of protocols and standards in reality. Finally, several key technologies and their theories, mechanism, requirements are discussed.
