IFLA Promoting Dyslexia Services in Libraries：Origin, Process and Effectiveness

This paper reviews all the initiatives in dyslexia services by IFLA in general, gives a dialectical analysis on their advantages and limitations. It elaborates the requirements and guidelines for library services to dyslexic groups based on the materials from IFLA professional reports, papers and cases. Finally, it summarizes the contributions of IFLA and makes suggestions that libraries in China should learn from IFLA experience to provide dyslexia services.
