Deepening the Institutional and Mechanism Reformation to Innovate the Services of Special Libraries：Practice and Thought of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Library

The reformation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS) library saw three stages. This paper summaries the development of main-branch library system in the library of CASS, and analyzes how to re-define the library. Finally, it concludes the library innovative system in the collection development, resources recovery, one-stop service, user training, reference service, document delivery and ILL, web-based service and Information Commons.
