Abstract

Health information seeking is an important part of everyday-life information seeking. As we know, health information is closely related to people's daily life. With the development of internet, more and more people choose to search and get kinds of health information through web. After referring many literatures both at home and abroad, this paper reviewed and summarized the research of online health information search by three parts: influential factors, content analysis, application platform and its technology. Then, we briefly overviewed some typical foreign empirical studies and discussed the weakness of the current research. Then some feasible suggestions were put forward to improve the related research in China.
