Current Situation and Service Mode Innovation of Public Opinions Information Work in Chinese Libraries：Conception of Regional Library’s Public Opinion Information Work Union

Current public opinion information work has become an important measure to know social conditions for government department, and libraries have always been taking part in it as the professional information service organization. This paper summarizes the main forms of current public opinion information work in Chinese libraries, and analyses the confronting difficulties. Then it discusses the conception of "Regional Library's Public Opinion Information Work Union", including feasibility analysis, establishment of public libraries' subject status, work centrality of other types of libraries, and operation mechanism and design of service mode of the union, to provide reference for innovation of public opinion work.
