Abstract

From the perspective of MOA (Motivation-Opportunity-Ability), this paper analyzes main influencing factors of motivation, opportunity and ability that affect users' communication and sharing behaviors on online research communities. Then it designs two kinds of mechanisms of trust mechanism and incentive mechanism. Interpersonal trust and social trust are introduced as trust mechanism, while virtual incentive and substantial incentive are referred to as incentive mechanism, in order to foster and sustain users' knowledge communication and sharing behaviors on online research communities.
