Abstract

This paper firstly introduces the self-organization of social tagging systems, and points out that the users set, the resources set, the tags set and the social tagging system are all self-organization systems. Then it separately discusses their self-organization mechanism using the hypercycle theory, and constructs the self-organization evolution model of social tagging systems. And finaly it analyzes the douban social tagging system's self-organization evolution process, with its network structure, in order to lay foundation of the further study of user behavior, user preferences and classification.
