Mapping, Link, Complete Association：A New Generation of Library System Design Concept

Based on analysis of the functions of the advantages and disadvantages of foreign new generation of library system, it puts forward "full linked mapping" of a new generation of library system concept, and formulizes the mapping principle of the management and service functions between traditional library and network from the top design. It illustrates the importance of mapping function integrity in new system by listing and comparative analysis. It also discusses subsystems design based on social network theories and tools. The meaning of "full link" contains connection from subsystems, subsystems associated with three major functional modules, the association between librarians and users, the correlation between librarians, as well as the man-machine dialogue.
