Abstract

From the perspective of information, this paper discusses the connotation and characteristics of error information, and its negative and positive effects on the organizational development. To minimize or even eliminate negative effects, organizations should manage error information This paper puts forward three specific proposals and measures to improve employees' willingness of providing error information, which includes cultivating positive error management culture, defusing the problem of information failure and constructing error reporting system. At last, it points out that the study on error information and its management should become a new research area of the information management discipline.
