Comparison of Legal Norms of Government Information Quality in China and United States

Legal norms of government information quality in China and United States are compared in legal definition, review mechanism, enforcement system, and enforcement effectiveness. It proposes the suggestion that China should establish and improve the government information quality law which includes increasing a clear definition of government information quality standards, specifying existing legal norms of government information quality, developing the Information Quality Act, improving social appraisals, specifying specialized agencies to regularly assess the quality of government information,and improving government officials' information quality awareness.
